What are some hairstyles that will always be in?

Hi, I am in need of some major help. My hair takes literally forever to grow. Right now it is down to my waist and I've never cut it; just trimed it. I got bangs when I was around 3 or 4, and it just barely touches my hair now 9 years later. I was thinking about getting layers, but then it will go out of style and I will be stuck with it.

So I am looking for your opinions on what hairstyles should always be in for longer styles. Thanks!

Straight hair, scrunched with gel, blow dry your hair while scrunching it with gel. Its your hair, your hair style never gets out of style. You do what you want with it, who cares if others think its out of style. If you like it, its in for you. Your hair is for you, its what makes you unique and different from every one else.

I've had the same hairstyle since junior high, long and straight with no layers. That seems to never go out of style. I think long hair like what you are describing is beautiful. Don't cut it!

Layers and square/round bangs are pretty much universally flattering. Bobs are very chic and fashion foward when cut right, but long hair makes a girl feel like well. . .a girl. But since your hair is sooo long and you really are afraid of a trendy haircut I would defintley go shorter (start out with long layers and build up so it will grow back out if you don't like it) and don't be afraid to play with color/high/lowlights either.
