it's hard to say without seeing your face. magazines offer rules as to what looks good and what doesn't depending on a person's face shape but things like complexion, forehead size, shape of the eyes and nose should also be taken into account. really, you never know until you try it.

I have a long face kind of like Jessica Parker's and long hair looks the best on me. I think that hair cut would look great on you. Be wary of a dark color though, go with something natural because with a haircut and a thin face a dark hair style will overcome your face.
