my hair is dark brown, past my shoulders with long layers. i want an emo like hairstyle without cutting it short... any suggestions/ pictures ???

dye your hair black, with maybe a tint or purple or red for the ends, maybe get it layered and assessorize your hair with a rock chic hairband, (black n white with a bow) ! cool!

you can always dye your hair....get a fringe over your eyes would also give you that look. or just make it a bit messy, not really neat at all, choppy, and with red and black hair clips in it. but make sure its not holding your hair out of your eyes, it has to be in you eyes. =D

Well you can dye it black and have it stick straight. And if you think you can pull it off: you can also streak your now-black hair with platinum blonde. Then you can part it diagonally and have a part of it cascade over one eye or even cover a side of the face. It's emo/punk but in a still attractive kind of way.
