My hair is pretty long, brown, thick, has sidebangs, and is a little wavy.

Right now, I put my hair up in a high ponytail, have my bangs pinned back, and just plian down.

i have long blonde thick STRAIGHT hair and tha messy ponytail is my best friend.... one way i got outta always using a ponytail is i got a perm and had to learn to "manage" my hair everydaY.... i couldnt just throw it up in a pony cuz i would have a huge mess with my hair at tha end of tha day.... anyways wat im trying to get at is when i got my perm it pushed me to take a lil more time with my hair and maybe if u want sumthang easy try a perm it lasts a while so make sure u wanna "manage" it.... good luck

That first answer was so lame and stupid.

Anyway to answer the question an easy hair style to do w/out using a styling tool would be to air dry your hair and put some hair serum in it, then twist it into sections and pin up with bobby pins for a while maybe even over night.

Then once you unpin them you'll have nice suttle more defined waves, very natural.

I also like the tosseled up do look, it will look like you're not trying to hard, you can just pin it loosly w/bobby pins, you can look them up on the web.

~You could do in a loose pony-tail style.

*Start with a pony tail, but right before you think it's tight you stop putting the hair inside the hairband. i've done it a few times. It's really cute, and simple.

~You could pull the front of your hair back.

*Take the top part of your hair (front part;the part in your face) and get a clip or hairband and pin it back. It looks really pretty and is usually fairly simple.

~Put a clip in your hair.

*Find a cute clip, and twirl a strand of hair (in the front ;on the side) towards the back and clip it back out of your face.
